When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password — we never store your password in plain text. If you publish content, make a purchase, join a discussion, or upload a file, we store what's necessary to provide that feature: your reading progress, saved library, order history, discussion posts, and uploaded files.
We use your data to run the platform: authenticating you, tracking your library and progress, processing orders, and moderating community content. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We rely on infrastructure providers to run Lumina: a hosting provider (Vercel), a database provider (Neon), and file storage (Vercel Blob). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. When payments and email delivery are enabled, we'll name those providers here too, before they go live.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal profile; content you've published may be retained if others depend on it, with your authorship anonymized on request.
Questions about this policy can be sent through our Contact page.
